1. Recording and sharing your World Asthma Day 2007

Take photos that show your "World Asthma Day" or illustrate the theme "You can control your asthma!" in your country. Write down and send us any public declarations made about asthma by your health authorities; or calls for action from patient groups; or statements by professional societies.

Winners:
Many countries entered photos of their World Asthma Day and other advocacy activities into ADF's Photo Competition.

Photographs capture the commitment of health services towards increasing awareness about asthma and providing good training for doctors, nurses, pharmacists.Children and adults with asthma show how they can lead their normal lives when their asthma is properly controlled.

Activities included training sessions for health professionals, patient education events, demonstrations, question and answer sessions, games, posters and a summer camp for children.

The winning photographs are from El Salvador, Nigeria, Panama and Switzerland.
